Everything in the book is real which fascinated me and I think would interest others as well. Augusten Burrows has led such an odd life and things happen to him that normally wouldn't happen to everyone else. From being an alcoholic, to dating a crack addict, Burrows seems to find the humor in everyone of his past life experiences. If you liked the book Running With Scissors, also by Agusten Burrows you would love this book as well.
