The initial title may be a bit of a turn off, but trust in the fact that this book is not a book related to or about drugs. It over views the life of the Author J. Troost. His wife and himself are confused on where their lives are headed. He has a successful job working in a bank in Washington D.C. He is making great money, and she is a teacher. The couple previously lived in the south pacific, on the many islands that exist there today. They moved back to the United States to start anew. Once they had been back for several years they continuted the stressful world and the pressures that demanded so much of their time. They decided that it was time they pick up where they left off. They continue on their crusade and fine themselves living on a secluded Island called Vanuatu. The book was great, it was interesting to see the contrast of culture from one location to another. It is two people who aren't afraid to announce they dislike the direction t
heir lives are going even though they have success. Having been the the Fijian Islands I can vouch for the nonchalant way of life they crave to have. With the bustling lives that they maintained in the nation's capitol it is no wonder why they wanted to leave. The best part of the book is the interesting stories they have and the encounters that they run into on the Islands. If you enjoy a great adventure story, with different odds and ends, than this book is for you.
