Amnesty - James Claud
Amnesty meets Tuesdays from 2:30-3:30 pm in the ERC.

Anime - James Lambotos
Anime meets Wednesdays from 2:30-3:30 pm in S136.

Book Club - Cathy Jaeger
The Book Club meets every third Tuesday from 2:30-3:30 pm in the library.

Chess Club - Tony Houle & Fred Bielfuss
Come join the highly successful Chess Team at Wheaton Warrenville South. If your looking to improve your chess skills as well as compete against top schools in the area.  No gambit will be left unturned! Tuesday/Thursday from 2:30-5:00 pm in the FLRC; October-March.

Fencing Club lets its participants learn the art of fencing and is for those who are interested in joining a club levelactivity and competing against others. No equipment or previous training is necessary. Thursdays; 2:30-4:00 pm; Group Exercise Room; September - December.

F.L.I.P. meets Wednesdays from 6:45-7:15 am in T-014.

Foreign Language Honor Society - Leslie Bower

Future Educators (FEDS) - Sara Bass & Elizabeth Walsh
The FEA provides middle and high school students with opportunities to explore teaching as a career option. FEDS meets every-other Tuesday from 2:30-4:00 pm in 115.

Gay-Straight Alliance - Tim Micheau
The Gay-Straight Alliance allows a safe place for leadership and guidance amongst gay, lesbian, bisexual,and straight students to meet and discuss issues related to sexuality. Take part in an open forum that takes many of these issues in today's culture. All are welcome. The club meets on Wednesdays from 2:15-3:15 pm in S-239.

J Kyle Braid Leadership Foundation - Craig Lawrence & Elissa Schwass
The J. Kyle Braid Leadership Foundation is all about teaching our young people leadership skills so that they, in turn may reach out to other teens and their peers with help that might make a life-saving difference down the line.

Intramurals - Ron Muhitch

Jazz Ensemble - Vic Scimeca
Jazz ensemble has two formal concerts per season, and at least one festival performance. The season runs from November to March each school year. Guest clinicians and exciting concerts are part of the learning process.

The junior Class Council meets Tuesdays from 6:45-7:15 am in T-008.

Key Club - Amy Claud (Upcoming Events/Schedule)
Key Club is a community service based activity. Support the community by being engaged in volunteer efforts throughout the year. Come to any meeting and see what you can become involved in. Meetings are every Wednesday from 2:30-3:00 pm in the auditorium. Service opportunities are available inside and outside of school.

Math Team - Peggy Tibbitt & John Ratkovich
Math Team provides a competitive environment for students to challenge themselves, as well as other students throughout Illinois. Students participate in competitions throughout the year after school. The Math Team meets Tuesdays from 2:15-3:15 pm in I-252. Freshmen and Sophomore team second in state (2004).

National Art Honor Society - Debbie Ebetsch
National Art Honor Society is for AP Studio Art students only. Students who are selected to be in the National Art Honor Society explore unique and varied techniques and media. The NAHS meets Mondays from 2:30-3:30 in A-131.

National Honor Society - Bette Klein
Students who are selected to be in the National Honor Society organize and participate in a variety of community service opportunities. NHS meets every third Thursday from 6:45-7:15 am in the auditorium.

Newspaper "The Pride" - Cindy Hildebrand
Students interested in joining the Newspaper staff edit, organize, and submit material to be printed in the school newspaper. If you have an interest in journalism, come to newspaper and be a part of the ongoings of Wheaton Warrenville South High School. The Pride meets Tuesdays from 2:30-3:30 pm in G-282.

Pep Band - Vic Scimeca
The Pep Band performs throughout the winter at selected home basketball games for both boys and girls. In addition, the Pep Band may also perform at a few home volleyball or wrestling matches. On average the bands performs once a week throughout the basketball season. Show off your talents in a lively athletic atmosphere.

S.A.D.D. - Bette Klein
Students Against Destructive Decisions is an organization that works to promote prevention activities throughout the school year. Take part in many of the year round activities that support school and the community. Check out Snowball and get involved. The club meets Mondays from 2:15-3:00 pm in T016.

South Outreach - C. Knapp-Andrews
The mission of South Outreach is to spread awareness and education about poverty and violence and use our resources to make change involving outreach projects. We accomplish this by motivating teenagers to think and serve outside of their little bubble.

South Spoken Writing Club - C. Lawrence & Richard Mitchell

Speech - Paul Lichy
Speech Team offers a competitive environment for those students who are interested in acting or public speaking.Get involved in the many different areas of speech such as dramatic interpretation, satire, comedic interpretation, and radio voice. Join the multi-State Championship Speech Team!

Student Council Executive Board - Jeff Pawlak & Betsie Walsh
The Executive Board meets Tuesdays from 6:45-7:15am in the CC and the General Assembly meets Wednesdays in the ERC-- same time.

Tech Club Drama - Diane M. Rockett
Tech Crew is responsible for all set design, set construction, lighting design, and sound implentatoin of all drama productions and activities that take place in the auditorium throughout the school year. The TCF meets every Monday from 2:30-3:30 pm in A156.

Verterra - Gloria Latta
Verterra is geared towards increasing environmental awareness in the community and school regarding local and global issues.Think globally and act locally. Help our planet, today! Enivrothon is a scholastic bowl competion in areas surrounding aquatics, forestry, wildlife, soils, and agriculture. Verterra meets every Tuesday from 2:25-3:30 in room S-235.

Yearbook - Pam Wostratzky & Kyra Behnke
The Yearbook staff works to create a professional and exciting yearbook that provides a reflective look at the past year for all students. Be a part of securing your past for the future. Learn the skills of editing, photographing, and planning in the year-long project. Yearbook meets Tuesdays from 2:15-4:00 pm in room A-185.

Youth & Government - Petersen, Chuck Williams & Kyle Hickman
Have an interest in politics? Wheaton Warrenville South offers a Youth and Government Club that meets throughout the year preparing bills and simulating parliamentary procedure. Youth and Government meets once a week to organize briefs and prepare for their weekend trip to Springfield, Illinois.  While in Springfield, sit in the legislative seats of the actual State of Illinois Assembly building. You will be debating proposed bills in proper parliamentary procedure.  The club meets every Thursday from 6:45-7:15 am in room S133. (Sept.-Apr.)
